Fourth Payroll Operations has been re-accredited for the CIPP’s Payroll Assurance Scheme for the 4th time!

The Payroll Assurance Scheme is the prestigious gold standard for both people and payroll processes and is the much-coveted award in the payroll industry.

Congratulations to MMB Partner, Fourth Payroll Operations, who have been re-accredited for the CIPP’s PAS for the 4th time.

Kathryn Wright, Head of Payroll Operations at Fourth comments, “We invest a huge amount of effort into managing our people and our processes to enable our payroll professionals to provide our customers with the highest level of value and service possible.

The Fourth Payroll Operations are all qualified payrollers committed to delivering excellent customer service and accurate payrolls. Receiving the gold standard PAS has assured me and our customers that we are committed and dedicated to compliance and best practice in payroll. I am so proud to quote that our department has been CIPP measured and found to be fit for purpose. We will continue to provide and manage life-long learning and development.

I would encourage any payroll department to sign up to the PAS process. It is an excellent way to ensure full compliance and to identify any risks. Our assessor was helpful and on hand throughout the whole process.”

What is it?

The Payroll Assurance Scheme is the prestigious gold standard for both people and payroll processes and is the much-coveted award in the payroll industry.

Kathryn adds, “The assessor said our assessment exceeded expectations, and praised our report for being a very positive and inspiring assessment which had been meticulously prepared for. We achieved 100% in every area.”

Assessors commentary: ‘Fourth deliver an exceptional quality service with a proven accuracy rate of 99.6%. All previous recommendations have been adopted (though there have never been very many)

Fourth is one of too many organisations that has been adversely affected by the pandemic and redundancies throughout the business have occurred in recent months. However, proven efficiencies, staff morale and their impressive continuous development culture has continued throughout. Fourth took the initiative to provide some great (and relevant) testimonials from colleagues and clients and these have been included in this report. All testimonials were given during 2020. No improvements to recommend’

What this means for Fourth?

  • The news will be shared on our website and on CIPP’s publications to update our current customers and attract new customers
  • The organisation is dedicated to compliance and best practice in payroll
  • The payroll and associated processes have been CIPP measured and found to be fit for purpose at the time of assessment
  • The organisation has suitable processes in place for preparing and delivering legislative changes
  • Necessary areas for development and improvement are highlighted and have been actioned
  • Better engagement and retention of staff due to better management of the payroll function
  • The organisation is dedicated to life-long learning and development
  • The organisation has shown openness and mitigated the risk of compliance failures by opting to engage in PAS which is ultimately, a best practice tool and a voluntary assessment
