Leading local law firm SAS Daniels has further strengthened its longstanding relationship with Macclesfield Football Club, through the renewal of its sponsorship deal for the 2023/24 season.
SAS Daniels is delighted to be named the official back of shirt sponsor for the Women’s First Team as part of the package, in addition to becoming a match day sponsor for one of the Macclesfield FC men’s home games at the Leasing.com stadium.
The firm has been a loyal partner of the club through a sponsorship deal since 2015, reflecting its commitment to supporting organisations that are highly valued by the community, and giving back to the local area.
The SAS Daniels team has a regular presence at club games to show their support for both the Macclesfield FC men and women’s teams.
Justine Clowes, Partner, Head of Private Client and Joint Head of Macclesfield Office at SAS Daniels commented:
“As a majority female firm, we understand the importance of investing in female talent, and our enduring partnership with Macclesfield FC is one we are very proud of. After witnessing the Women’s First Team enjoy an incredibly successful 2022/23 season, we are thrilled to extend our sponsorship deal and continue supporting the team on their journey.”
Robert Smethurst, owner of Macclesfield Football Club added:
“It has been an immense journey rebuilding the club and taking it back up to the league, driven by pure passion as a local resident to do something good for the community. SAS Daniels has been a huge supporter, and without the help of local businesses through sponsorship, the club wouldn’t exist. It’s really important that Macclesfield has this, as the club is the heartbeat of the whole town, and we are really grateful to those who provide their valued support to make this possible.”
